Thanksgiving and the Weekend

I was actually off 4 days straight for Thanksgiving this year.  That NEVER happens, but since Christmas falls on Saturday this year, everyone got to choose what day to use their Christmas holiday.  2 of us chose the Friday after Thanksgiving, which was great!

Thanksgiving day we.........

looked cute as could be,

we gave thanks,

we ate {thankfully not off of Anna Claire's menu} : )

and we went to see Tangled at the theater in Tullahoma.

MeMe made sure Anna Claire had all the Rapunzel accessories that she needed for the movie.  I only let her wear the dress to the movies and Moms, if you are considering buying the Rapunzel hair, DON'T DO IT!!  It is a full wig and sheds like crazy!!  I've had Rapunzel hair on my clothes, wrapped around my feet, in my mouth, you name it!!  We won't talk about what a knotted up mess the wig gets in!

Over the weekend we shopped,

we put up a Christmas tree,

  or two.

Daddy hung the outdoor lights and then went to work.

Anna Claire got in trouble and then went to sleep on the couch, which was probably the best thing for her.  : )

............and Sunday morning before Church, Anna Claire starred every so patiently at the Christmas tree waiting for one of the gifts to jump in her arms.  She didn't care that they are all teachers gifts.
