Easter Sunday

I haven't gotten Easter pictures on the PC yet. I took this one with Kerry's phone. I thought it was sweet so I figured I would go ahead and share it with everyone. This was when we were getting ready to leave for church Sunday morning.

So, I had to work at night a few nights last week and Saturday morning Kerry got up and took care of Anna Claire. When I got up he seemed very excited and told me to check my cell phone bc he had sent me a picture. This is what I got...............

When I asked why Anna Claire was in the dryer he looked at me like I had lost my mind!! He then replied, "she was helping me fold clothes and wanted in the dryer, so I put her in it and shut the door. Everytime I shut the door she pushed it open and thought it was hilarious, so I kept doing it." I just rolled my eyes bc I am so sure she said, "hey Daddy can you put me in the dryer?" Yeah right!! Anyway, I guess it's good to know that Kerry can never hold me hostage in the dryer. LOL!!

We also went to the grocery store this same day. While we were there Kerry wanted to buy some Oreo Cakesters. I said no, but he insisted he want to buy them for Anna Claire, so I gave in. I'm a sucker for her!! So here she is eating her cakester.

Then on Monday morning I go look in the Oreo Cakester box and pull out 2 empty wrappers. Ummm, I thought these were for Anna Claire, turns out I was right, they were for Daddy!! I never mentioned it bc I knew he would blame it on Anna Claire, he blames everything on her even though she's only a little over 2 foot tall. LOL!!

First Tooth!!

Anna Claire is finally at 10 1/2 months old getting her first tooth. Friday night I had my finger in her mouth, I'm not real sure why I had my finger in her mouth, but never the less I did. I started feeling around and I felt a point. I immediatley told Kerry to put his finger in her mouth and feel. He felt the point as well, so I called Momma (Granny) and told her to come over and feel too. She was cleaning house, but was so excited she stopped cleaning and came over ASAP. She felt the point too. We were all so excited!! I think Momma (Granny) called everyone she could that night. Anna Claire was biting her Daddy's nose on Saturday, like she always does, and hurt him, so at that point he decided she could no longer bite him since she has a tooth now. I have not been able to get a picture of it bc let's face it, she acts like her Daddy. I did get to see it last night, but it took me about 15 minutes to pin her down and get her to keep her mouth open. She was so mad at me, but lucky for me she gets over it very quickly.

Let Em' Walk On

Anna Claire got to ride her first Tennessee Walking Horse on Thursday, March 13, 2008. Her Granny took her to the barn to see her Papa Ern (Cliff's Step-Dad) so that they could take a ride on a horse. Papa Ern has been very excited to let her ride for the first time. She loved it and Momma (Granny) said she had to pet every horse she walked by. She kept pointing to the horses saying "dog". She thinks all animals that have 4 legs are dogs. The lady that owned the horse was at the barn and was very impressed that at 10 months old she was sitting up straight on her horse. Papa Ern cannot wait until she can ride by herself bc I think his dream is for her to be riding in the ring one day. Daddy is not very keen on the idea, but if that's what she chooses to do, then we'll let her do it. Here are some pictures. They are a bit blurry, but you get the idea. I'll try this weekend to get the one off of Momma's (Granny's) camera bc I'm sure it's more clear.

No Need to be Rude!!

So, I took a picture of Anna Claire and I yesterday and her wonderful Father looks at it and says, "sometimes you have to wonder if she is your's." OK, I realize this child looks more like Kerry, but there is no need to rub it in DADDY!! I carried her for 9 months, so I'm 100% sure I'm her Mother. I know he was just joking, but geez!! Give it a rest!! LOL!!

Here's the proof that she looks way more like her Daddy than her Mommy. I think the eyes just throws everyone off.

I personally see everything Mommy, except the eyes and ears.

Snow and then 70 Degrees?

Anna Claire got to play in her first snow on Saturday, March 8.

She wasn't very sure about it, but tolerated it for about 15 minutes.

She seemed very excited to get back in the house.
