Fun in the House!!

So we started this morning like we do a few days during the week. Anna Claire woke up as I was getting out of the shower. We got her dressed and she had some baby milk in front of the bathroom door.

Once she finished her baby milk, she rolled around on the floor and decided to get on the move. Harley joined us in the bathroom for a few minutes, only to look out the window.

When Harley left, Anna Claire was playing with her tug boat, so I thought. I turned around to find her rolling the toilet paper off of the roll.

Anna Claire loves to play with Harley. Here's a short video of her trying to chase him around the kitchen last night before she plowed in to the refrigerator.

Weekend Fun!!

We did make it to see the Easter Bunny as planned on Saturday. There were a few family members worried about how Anna Claire would react seeing the Easter Bunny, but she LOVED him!! Kerry had gone to get something to drink while we were in line and I had to take her out of the stroller bc she got so excited she was trying to climb out. She kicked and squealed the entire time we were in line and while she was in the Easter Bunny's lap. The picture is a little blurry bc I had to take a picture of the picture. I forgot that when we went to see Santa I bought the CD and I didn't do that this time.

Anyway, you can see her feet up in the air bc she was still kicking away.

Yesterday it was 70 degrees outside and sunny, so we spent a lot of time outside playing. Anna Claire loves to be outside. Anna Claire and I were on our deck playing and her Granny could hear her on her deck squealing. Needless to say, we have a squealer on our hands. Her Grandma and Great Grandma came down to visit yesterday as well. (Kerry's Mom and her Mom) They watched Anna Claire while Kerry and I went to the gym and seemed very surprised that Anna Claire was so good while we were gone. When we returned, they went on and on about what a good baby she is. She is a very happy girl!!

It is in the 70's again today, so her and her Granny were going to play outside since I'm at work.

Panties

Since, I've been updating this morning I thought I would share a funny story.
It's no surprise that Anna Claire loves under garments, after seeing the picture below. She also loves attention and is good at getting it. Anna Claire, her Daddy, and I went shopping over the weekend. Kerry had her in her Baby Bijorn (a carrier that attaches to you) bc she loves feeling free and it's also much easier than the stroller. So, we go in to Victoria's Secret and the women in the store go crazy over Anna Claire. Of course, Anna Claire is eating it up and so is her Daddy bc hey, it's a bunch of women surrounding him. Anyway, we are walking around the store and I'm looking around and I turn around to check on them and Anna Claire has grabbed a pair of panties and is slinging them around and squeeling. Her arms were flying around over head along with the panties, she's kicking her feet up in the air, and just having a HUGE time. Everyone is cracking up bc she's having such a good time with a pair of panties. I asked Kerry what he was doing and he replies, "Robyn I don't know!! I don't know where she got them from. Please take them away from her." I could hear the panic and embarrassment in his voice (not to mention the redness on his face), but man it was FUNNY!!

She's 10 Months Old!!

Anna Claire turned 10 months old on the 26th. She still has very little hair and no teeth, but she can wear out a Nilla Wafer!! They are her favorites bc she can stick the whole cookie in her mouth and they dissolve easily, so she doesn't have to worry about Mommy and Daddy digging around in her mouth.

Some mornings she sleeps until Momma/Granny gets to our house to pick her up and some mornings she wakes up as soon as I get out of the shower. On the mornings that she wake up, she HAS to be where she can see me, so I get her a bottle and pillow and she lays on the rug in the hall in front of the bathroom door. When she's done with her bottle she'll come in the bathroom with me.

As for this picture, don't ask! Just know that her Daddy is holding her and I think that will explain it all.

Oh the Places You'll Go!!

Our sweet little girl is growing so fast!! Since Christmas we moved in to our new home and Anna Claire never missed a beat. I think it was harder on Kerry than it was on any of us. Anna Claire has mastered crawling and is very quick.

Learning to Walk!!!!!!!!!

She walked from her bedroom, down the hall, in to the kitchen. I couldn't get to my phone until she rounded the corner to the kitchen. Once she got back on her feet she ran in to the dishwasher and just kept ramming it. It was too funny.

It's a Bird!! No It's a Plane!!

No, it's what happens when Mommy doesn't pay attention to Daddy and Anna Claire.





Anna Claire got a new bib that was packaged with a ribbon around it. As you can see, it was NOT being used as a bib, instead it was a cape and the ribbon was her headband.

If you're ever at the Pennington house with your shoes off, be careful. You never know what you might find in your shoes.
